Barack Obama is tipped by some to become the country's first black president.

Wayne Dyer mentioned that he listens to Barack

He's either the 3rd or 5th black senator to win a seat, but he is the only current black person in the senate

Great looking family! I agree with you on the party affiliation.
A friend told me about this guy www.masonweaver.com
He wrote a book called It Is OK to Leave The Plantation....
Free Enterprise is alive and well!

We will never see an African American president or a woman, the religious right fanatics have proved that !

When choosing to vote for a politician the question of colour is irrelevant as is gender or looks or any other extraneous criteria. The only question should be the political and spiritual views and life style. In other words does the person walk the talk.
There will most definitely at some time be a black president of the United States and there will be a female president . Maybe they will be the same person. This will only happen when the SOURCE says it is time and you as a country are ready.

It is very exciting that Barack has been elected, his opponent is a very scary person.
I disagree about the party affiliation.....what does it matter, if he will truly serve his constituents and the good of the country. I think he will be a really good Senator and the possibility that he might run for President is exciting.
Still, with 4 more years of the religious right ruling our country, it seems unlikely that anyone who is not white, male and heterosexual will have any input into the process. We must all pray that Bush will live up to his promises of unification.

Opinions regarding which political party he should be with is irrelevant. Whats important is that he is living his purpose, serving his people and ALL people, serving his country and mankind. He is doing much good for the world.

He is doing much good for the world.

What specifically has he done good for the world?

Why do you think he's a democrat instead of a republican?
