I have been using Siva Baba's CD's for several years now. For someone new to Baba, I would recommend any of the first meditation CDs he's produced, depending on your desire.

The Meditations and Affirmations with a Master CD has a morning meditation that incorporates breathing and eye exercises along with the "Ah" meditation he intorduced to Wayne Dyer. Truthfully, I think Baba's version of the Ah meditation is much better than Dyer's. Other tracks on the CD are an affirmation track and an evening meditation, "Yogic Sleep."

The Sounds for Karma-Busting CD contains a lecture, chant and meditation to remove your karma. The sound used here is "Thiru Neela Kantam," which someone has mentioned in another thread here.

The Sounds for Manifesting CD Has a lecture and the Ara Kara chant and meditations.

Lately, Baba's been emphasizing his "One Minute Meditation," and has recently released a CD containing an extended version of this meditation. I've been using this last CD for the last few months and under Baba's recent recommendation, I've been doing the extended meditation for up to an hour. I tell you what, that length of time with this meditation zones me out so much that I have trouble walking right afterward. If I get up too abruptly, I'll stagger around like a drunkard.

I have used these two CD's as well and I do like them a little more than Dr. Dyer'sCD that accompanied "Getting in the Gap". I did find though, that when I lent both Siva Baba's and Dyer's CDs to friends that were not familiar with meditation -- or were wary of meditation -- that they found Dr. Dyer's was more easy to understand and at some level more palitable.

I seems to me (living in my intensly rural community) that Dr. Dyer is able with amazing clarity and compassion to touch the minds and thoughts of people that normally resist thought processes outside of the 'mainstream'. Has anyone else found this?

I agree totally. I wasnt' knocking Dyer's meditations. I often recommend them to people as a starting point. I haven't heard the "Gap" CD, but I used Dyer's "Meditations for Manifesting Morning and Evening Meditations to Literally Create Your Heart's Desire" for almost a year, semi-regularly, until I got ahold of Baba's tapes. Dyer's meditations were first ones that really clicked with me. But I used to compare his and Baba's versions as a Volkswagon compared to a Rolls Royce. Dyer's "Ah" will get you where you're going but I just feel there's more happening with Baba's.

I wonder if part of the resistance to Baba's meditation is because he's a "genuine Indian Guru," to quote Dr. Hook. Though he's open to all religions and uses examples of the Bible and Jesus in his teachings, there is a lot of Hindu teaching in there too. People are wary of getting hooked into a "cult." Whereas Dyer is an American Psychologist and thus "safer."

None of my friends are interested in Baba, nor meditation in general. I tell them some of my experiences and have given the karma busting CD as a gift after a friend joked that he needed to end his bad karma. He listened to part of it and said that he didn't have time to meditate, though I just recommended playing it in the backround as he went about his day.

So I don't push meditation on others. I feel that there's different paths for different folks. Just as there are different styles of martial arts, the teacher that's right for me may not be right for everyone.

Hi

I don't know of any website containing any tracks. But I think you can get hold of some of Dr. Dyer's audios for free from P2P protocols like Kazaa, Ares, Bit Torrent, etc.

What audios do you have? Could you give me some?

Thanks

Hi, Tom Green or anyone who has used Siva Baba's CD, have you manifested anything using his techniques?
I've purchased his "Sounds for Manifesting" with his Ara Kara chaniting, but didn't really recognize anything that I was trying to manifest show up. I also purchased his "Meditations and Affirmations with a Master" CD and didn't notice anything. Maybe I wasn't very dedicated using these, I'm not sure, but maybe I only did those CD's for a month or less than a month and didn't notice anything showing up. I think I went back to just doing the Ah and Ohm medtations on my own for 20 minutes. I also purchased one of his videotapes his "Sri Siva's Personal Transformation Program for Month 7 - Relationship, to try and attract a girlfriend. I did this for over a month, but I don't think I recognized any special girl showing up.

Has anyone or did you Tom Green manifest anything? Was I doing something wrong? For me, it seems if I manifest the "Ah" or "Ohm" meditations on my own without the CD, maybe I get tangible results. But maybe I should try the CD's or video again since maybe I did something wrong? And what about the Karma Busting CD, what did you notice from that? Did you notice any results? What in particular?

Thanks.

J.
