An introduction? Is that a requirement? Introibo. Anyone really reading that stuff? I am a professional foreigner. Several passports, a foreigner in my own country. Is that very important? I like languages, although they are boundaries of the soul. Why does it matter that we are born on the right or the left bank of the river? Still it shapes our lives. I like Wayne, he is very inclusive. I have a nice picture of the two of us it looks like we are lifelong friends. And in a way we are, although we briefly met after one of his appearances in NY. Because of him, I went to a Hawkins lecture. No trace of humility in that little man. It's hard for me to take the calibrations very seriously. You may compare kinesiology to radiesthesia the operator's feelings influence the results. Therefore if Hawkins enjoys a specific movie or worships a politician (he was booed), you can expect them to calibrate at a stratospheric level. Swing a pendulum and you'll realize that it tends to please you. You can influence its movements. Still, Power Vs Force is very interesting although the Eye of the I is painfully unreadable and stuffed with typos (it calibrates higher... go figure). I was raised a Catholic and still regard myself as one, though I do not go to church anymore and don't believe much in religion. You probably know the quote from the Swiss psychologist Carl Jung the purpose of organized religion is to prevent from the direct experience of God... I have met God a couple of times, and he has a great sense of humor. I should have been struck by ligthning a million times. But maybe God does not use thunder when he talks to us, maybe he is not that crabby and insecure old man sitting in a throne of clouds, Zeuslike. Jesus is my Master and my guide. I am not waiting for the second coming, nor for Judgment Day. God is not an accountant, thank Him! If our good deeds were filed in a ledger against our bad deeds, we'd be all screwed. Except for the Righteous, which will be raptured anyway. (I can't wait for that to happen...). I am a seeker, just like you. I don't have all the answers, but neither do you. God loves us all, all of us must be saved and all of us eventually will. His love is the love of the Father for all his children. Welcome back the prodigal ones. You are all blessed, my brothers and sisters!

HELLO DAPTIN, WELCOME TO THE FAN FORUM. MAY YOUR SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH LEAD YOU TO PERFECT PEACE. YES, WE ARE ALL SEARCHING. I suppose you know this but the hayhouse radio website has an archive with Dr Dyer speaking every week. Interesting stuff. Just thought I would remind you, if you already knew. Must be exciting to have so many passports. I would not know. Thanks for your opinion of Mr Hawkins. His book Power vs Force is very interesting but not near as helpful to me as the Course in Miracles on my search to the Truth. Blessings to you tonight. Love, your sister Shefree

Hi Shefree,

Well then someone is reading those posts, after all... I started reading ACIM a few months ago, I am just a couple of chapters into it. Not an easy read. He could have written that, I suppose. But it's difficult to believe He did. Also read The Disappearance of the Universe, by Gary Renard, which takes the whole thing a bit farther. According to him, God did not create the universe - our ego did... I had no idea the ego was so powerful. Wonder how Gary managed to have all these encounters without arousing his wife's suspicion. A miracle, probably.

Take care, Sis.

Thank you Daptin for your reply and information. I have not read Gary Renard's book. Sounds interesting but I do not want to believe the ego is that powerful. HA! Guess I will check this out. I have an open mind but I also know that God is real and there is so much we do not know about Him/Her. Just want to say "Happy Thanksgiving". I love this time of year. I will not celebrate as such with family because I will be at work but I mean to have thanksgiving in my heart all the time. As for the tradition, I feel very bad about what we have done to the Indians who used the USA for their home. I believe there was room for all of us and I do not believe in killing others. Well, so much , have a great Holiday time and may you be blessed beyond measure.
Your Sister, Shefree

Hi Shefree,

Well, if you are into both ACIM and Wayne, it's surprising you are not more familiar with Renard, since Wayne has been endorsing it forcefully via emails. Basically, it's St. Thomas (yes, doubting Thomas, of the lost Gospel fame) and another ancient saint who suddenly materialize into Renard's life and keep chatting for several years. Their teachings correspond word for word to ACIM. With that kind of spiritual guidance, Renard evolves unsurprisingly into some kind of an enlightened individual (at least, according to his tale). The premise of the book is that the universe is a construction of the ego and therefore bound to desintegrate. Along the way, you learn a few tidbits, such as humanity was initially born on Mars... Being a doubting Thomas myself, I will believe in these things the day some entity from Inner Space materializes in my living room. I tend to believe what I experience, although I could hardly complain my life have been spared many times under miraculous circumstances. Also, people have popped up with the answers I needed, unexpectedly but just at the right time. I am just into the first chapters of ACIM and read it one page at the time, and I still don't know what a miracle is... Yeah, the fate of the Indians, here and in Latin America is a sad reality, but I will celebrate as the Americans a moment of truce. So, Happy Thanksgiving. I am already blessed beyond measure... and so are you!
