Hi all
I am Ron, and live in Tennessee. I have recently started reading some
of Dr. Dyer's writings and saw the "Power of Intention" PBS special a few nights ago.
I am a born-again Christian and find some very relative truths in Dr. Dyer's teachings. As many have pointed in this forum, a person does not have to take everything a teacher says as "gospel" or concrete truth. I find that my Christian background and "grounding" helps me relate to many things I hear WD saying, and for this I am thankful.
I have seen some definite changes in my life since reading what Dr. Dyer has to say and am encouraged about the future.
I think it is sad when Christians attack other people's beliefs from an arrogant, pseudo-spiritual perspective. According to the teachings of Jesus, He himself proclaimed that He didn't come into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through Him, might be saved.
Why do some Christians seem to feel they have a different ministry than the One they profess to worship???
Anyway, I look forward to participating in the forum and wish you all
peace and joy.
Ron
